I had a wonderful dinner last night with two very dear old friends whom I've known since 1985!
We recently also met up with two other old friends on separate occasions and it was as though the years in between had never happened. There was none of that beating round the bush and pussyfooting as with new acquaintances. We just caught up on gossip and it felt as comfortable as when we were teens. Don't you just love catching up with old friends?
