As I was traveling home in the MRT this evening after a quick stop at the shops, I studied my fellow commuters and realized that there were many female faces among them - young and old, alone or in groups. And I thought to myself, "I'm glad I live in a society where women can walk around freely on par with men, without fear of being molested, even at night."
